We have an exciting, full-time career opportunity for a junior-level Environmental Scientist in our Long Island (Westbury) office.  The position will provide support to various environmental projects.  Duties will include environmental compliance activities including the preparation of permit applications, storm water pollution prevention and spill prevention, Phase I, II, and III investigations, and environmental impact statements, as well as field work associated with air, water and soil sampling.  Understanding of water and storm water issues and associated regulatory compliance a plus.

Applicants must possess a minimum of 3 years environmental consulting experience.  Must be highly motivated and detail oriented and possess strong technical writing abilities with a commitment to customer service.  Proficiency with MS Office applications is also required.  The successful applicant will be a self-starter working within a team environment and will have good organizational/communication skills.  Must also have the ability to manage a heavy workload, travel and be on-call as needed.  BS in environmental science or related field required.
